Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 c. evaporated skim milk
  • 1/2 tsp. dill weed
  • 1 lb. can flaked salmon, drained
  • 2 c. enriched broad noodles
  • 2 c. cooked broccoli tips
  • 1 c. canned or fresh mushrooms

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In the top of a double boiler over simmering water, melt the margarine.
  3. Blend in the flour until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the evaporated skim milk, stirring until the mixture is thick and smooth.
  5. Add salt, dill weed, and pepper to taste.
  6. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked noodles, flaked salmon, broccoli tips, and mushrooms.
  7. Pour the sauce over the mixture and stir gently to combine.
  8. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
