Ingredients

  • 1 cup rice
  • 3/4 stick oleo
  • 1 can beef bouillon or consomme
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 small jar sliced mushrooms

Instructions

  1. Saute butter and chopped onion until the onion is clear.
  2. Add rice and stir for about one minute.
  3. Put all ingredients, including the remaining ingredients and 3/4 can of water, into a casserole dish.
  4. Cover and cook at 375°F for 30 to 45 minutes until there is no more water and rice is tender.
