Ingredients

  • 4 cups cubed bread
  • 1 pound shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 8 eggs
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • crumbled bacon

Instructions

  1. Place cubed bread into a greased 9x13 inch pan.
  2. Top the bread with shredded Cheddar cheese.
  3. In a bowl, beat eggs, milk, mustard, and onion powder until well combined.
  4. Slowly pour the egg mixture over the bread and cheese in the pan.
  5. Bake at 325 degrees Fahrenheit for 30-35 minutes.
  6. Cover the casserole with crumbled bacon and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
