Ingredients

  • 8 slices bread
  • 1 cup diced ham
  • 1 (4 oz.) can diced chilies
  • 2 1/2 cups milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 pound cubed Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard

Instructions

  1. Place bread cubes and ham cubes in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  2. Combine milk, eggs, cheese, salt, pepper, and dry mustard in a blender.
  3. Blend until the cheese is grated and ingredients are well mixed.
  4. Stir in diced chilies.
  5. Pour the mixture over the bread and ham, ensuring all cubes are moistened.
  6. Let stand in the refrigerator overnight.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 1 hour.
