Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. dry yeast
  • 2 c. warm milk
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. shortening
  • 1/4 c. butter or margarine
  • 1 Tbsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Put yeast into warm milk along with 2 tablespoons sugar and mix to dissolve.
  2. Add eggs to the yeast mixture.
  3. Add shortening, margarine or butter, salt, flour, and 1/2 cup sugar to the mixture.
  4. Work the dough until smooth.
