Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa
  • 3 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 3/4 cup walnuts or pecan pieces
  • 1 1/2 sticks margarine
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • pinch of salt
  • 14 oz sour cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour a large Bundt pan and set aside.
  3. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, cocoa, cinnamon, raisins, and nuts.
  4. Set aside.
  5. In a large mixing bowl, cream together margarine and sugar.
  6. Add vanilla and eggs, mixing to blend.
  7. In a separate bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  8. Add dry ingredients to the large mixing bowl.
  9. Mix well. Add sour cream and mix to blend.
  10. Fold in the brown sugar-nut mixture by hand.
  11. Pour the batter into the prepared Bundt pan.
  12. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 50 to 60 minutes, until done.
