Ingredients

  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 1/4 cup finely chopped pecans
  • 1 (8 oz.) package Philadelphia cream cheese
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups Cool Whip

Instructions

  1. Press 1 stick of margarine, flour, and 3/4 cup of chopped pecans into the bottom of a 13 x 9-inch glass pan to make the crust.
  2. Bake for 20 minutes at 350°F (175°C).
  3. Let the crust cool completely.
  4. Mix cream cheese and powdered sugar with an electric mixer until smooth.
  5. Stir in 1 cup of Cool Whip into the cream cheese mixture.
  6. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled crust while it is still warm.
  7. Mix Jell-O instant pudding with milk and let stand for 5 minutes.
  8. Spread the pudding over the cream cheese layer.
  9. Top with remaining Cool Whip and chopped pecans.
