Ingredients

  • 42 Oreo cookies
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream
  • 1 jar chocolate fudge topping
  • 1 cup Spanish peanuts

Instructions

  1. Crush cookies and mix with melted butter.
  2. Spread the mixture evenly in the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan, reserving 1/3 cup of crumbs.
  3. Spread ice cream over the crust.
  4. Place in the freezer until firm.
  5. Spread fudge topping over the top of the ice cream.
  6. Sprinkle nuts on top, then sprinkle the remaining cookie crumbs over the topping.
  7. Cover with foil and keep in the freezer.
  8. Cut into squares to serve.
  9. Can be topped with caramel topping.
