Ingredients

  • 1 c. Crisco
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 c. canned pumpkin
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 1/2 c. sifted flour
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. ginger
  • 1/2 tsp. cloves

Instructions

  1. Cream Crisco and brown sugar together until light and fluffy.
  2. Add eggs, canned pumpkin, and vanilla to the creamed mixture and mix well.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the sifted flour, cinnamon, salt, baking powder, ginger, and cloves.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture, mixing until combined.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a cookie sheet.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F for 10 minutes.
