Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup margarine
  • 2/3 cup crushed saltines or Ritz crackers
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 pound frozen fish fillets, thawed and drained
  • 1/2 teaspoon basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  2. Combine crushed saltines or Ritz crackers, Parmesan cheese, basil, oregano, salt, and garlic powder in a bowl.
  3. Dip fish fillets in melted butter, then into the crumb mixture to coat.
  4. Arrange coated fillets in the baking pan.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25 to 30 minutes until golden and cooked through.
