Ingredients

  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 cup Crisco solid
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 cups plain flour
  • 1 (8 oz) cream cheese
  • 1 package butterscotch chips
  • 1 cup pecans chipped

Instructions

  1. Blend Crisco, sugar, and cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Beat well to combine.
  3. Slowly add flour and eggs a little at a time, mixing thoroughly.
  4. Set aside 1/4 cup of flour.
  5. Mix separately the pecans, butterscotch chips, and the reserved flour.
  6. Slowly add vanilla to the well-beaten batter.
  7. Pour one layer of batter into a greased Bundt pan.
  8. Add the nut mixture in the center of the batter.
  9. Cover with more batter on top.
  10. Bake at 325°F (160°C) for about 1.5 hours, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  11. Cool for 45 minutes, then remove from the pan.
  12. Slice gently and serve.
