Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons flour
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 teaspoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon rum extract
  • 1 (8 oz.) tube refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine 1/4 cup brown sugar and 2 teaspoons flour.
  2. Add 2 tablespoons butter and 2 teaspoons milk.
  3. Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat until the mixture thickens and bubbles.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in 1/2 teaspoon rum extract.
  5. Divide the brown sugar mixture evenly among 8 ungreased muffin cups; set aside.
  6. Unroll the crescent rolls and cut each into 4 strips.
  7. Wrap each strip around the brown sugar mixture in the muffin cups.
  8. Brush the tops with 1 tablespoon melted butter.
  9. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Serve warm.
