Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 sticks butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 10 oz. package butterscotch chips
  • 1 cup chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
  2. Beat softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a large bowl until creamy.
  3. Add eggs to the mixture and beat well.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, blending well.
  6. Stir in butterscotch chips and chopped nuts.
  7. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan.
  8. Bake for 35 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.
  9. Allow to cool completely in the pan before cutting into bars.
