Ingredients

  • 1 medium cabbage head
  • 1 1/2 lb. hamburger meat
  • 1/4 cup cooking oil
  • salt
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. Cut the cabbage into small pieces.
  2. Fry the cabbage in a skillet with cooking oil until almost tender.
  3. Shape the hamburger meat into 1-inch balls.
  4. Place the meatballs on top of the cabbage in the skillet.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Cover with a lid and cook, turning once or twice, until the meatballs are done.
