Ingredients

  • 1 head cabbage, chopped
  • 2 large onions, diced
  • 2 bell peppers, chopped
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 strips bacon
  • 1 can diced Ro-Tel

Instructions

  1. Put vegetable oil in a Dutch oven and heat until hot.
  2. Add bacon strips to the hot oil and brown them.
  3. Add chopped cabbage, diced onions, and chopped bell peppers to the Dutch oven.
  4. Add about 1/4 cup of water to the pot.
  5. Stir in the can of diced Ro-Tel.
  6. Continue to stir and let simmer until vegetables are tender, about 20-25 minutes.
  7. Add garlic salt to taste before serving.
