Ingredients

  • 1/2 large cabbage, shredded
  • 1 lb ground meat (beef, pork, or turkey)
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion (optional)
  • 1 can Cheddar soup
  • 1/2 can milk
  • cornbread

Instructions

  1. Shred the cabbage.
  2. Add ground meat to a skillet and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in shredded cabbage and chopped onion if using, cooking until the cabbage softens.
  4. Add cheddar soup and milk to the skillet.
  5. Stir well and simmer briefly until heated through.
  6. Serve the mixture over warm cornbread.
