Ingredients

  • 1 head cabbage, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 large jar pimento, chopped
  • 1 c. vinegar
  • 3/4 c. salad oil
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. celery seed

Instructions

  1. Mix the chopped cabbage, onion, bell pepper, and pimento in a large bowl.
  2. In a saucepan, combine the vinegar, salad oil, sugar, salt, and celery seed. Heat and bring to a boil.
  3. Pour the hot mixture over the vegetable mixture and stir to combine.
