A refreshing fruit smoothie blending citrus, melon, and strawberries, perfect for a cooling summer treat or healthy snack for all ages.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup orange or apple juice (unsweetened)
  • pinch of nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
  • 1/2 ripe cantaloupe, cut into chunks and frozen
  • fresh strawberries

Instructions

  1. Place the orange or apple juice, a pinch of nutmeg, and honey (if using) in a blender.
  2. Add the frozen cantaloupe chunks and process with an on-off pulsing motion until the melon is crushed and smooth.
  3. Spoon the smoothie into two 8-ounce glasses.
  4. Decorate the glasses with fresh strawberries and thread melon chunks and strawberries alternately on skewers for garnish.
