Ingredients

  • 1 box white cake mix
  • 2/3 cup oatmeal
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 3/4 cup caramel ice cream topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix cake mix, oatmeal, brown sugar, and chopped nuts in a bowl.
  3. Add egg and vegetable oil; mix until well combined.
  4. Press half of the dough into a greased and floured 9x13-inch baking pan.
  5. Spread caramel ice cream topping evenly over the dough in the pan.
  6. Crumble the remaining dough on top of the caramel layer.
  7. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 30 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool before slicing and serving.
