Caramel Pears

Ingredients

  • 1 (1 lb.) can pear halves, drained
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. light corn syrup
  • 1/4 c. pear syrup

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients, except pears, in a saucepan.
  2. Simmer until smooth and blended.
  3. Place pear halves in the caramel syrup.
  4. Heat, basting with syrup.
  5. Serve warm or chilled with sour cream or ice cream.
