Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
  • 1 (10 oz.) roll refrigerated biscuits
  • 1/2 cup pecan halves
  • 1/4 cup maraschino cherries, quartered

Instructions

  1. Place butter in an 8-inch round dish.
  2. Microwave on High 45 to 60 seconds until melted.
  3. Sprinkle brown sugar over melted butter.
  4. Add light corn syrup and stir well with a fork.
  5. Place a 4-ounce drinking glass or 6-ounce custard cup, open side up, in the center of the dish.
  6. Sprinkle pecan halves and quartered maraschino cherries around the glass.
  7. Arrange biscuits over the mixture in a petal shape, squeezing to fit.
  8. Microwave at Medium (5) for 8 to 10 minutes.
  9. Remove the glass and invert the dish onto a serving plate.
  10. Let the dish stand over the rolls for a few minutes before serving.
