Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. crushed pineapple
  • 4 slices bread
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 1/8 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a 9-inch square baking pan.
  2. Stir brown sugar and drained crushed pineapple into the melted butter.
  3. Spread the pineapple and sugar mixture evenly over the bottom of the pan.
  4. Beat egg, milk, and salt together until well combined.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the pineapple and sugar in the pan.
  6. Bake in a preheated 400°F oven for 25 minutes or until lightly browned.
  7. Allow to cool for 1 minute, then invert onto a plate to serve.
