Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. boneless pork steaks
  • 1 large red onion
  • 3/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. Trim any fat from the pork steaks as needed.
  2. Thinly slice the red onion and place it along with the pork in a nonmetal baking dish.
  3. Combine fresh lime juice, salt, and cayenne pepper in a bowl.
  4. Pour the lime mixture over the pork and onions.
  5. Cover the dish and refrigerate for several hours to marinate.
