Crazy Meatballs combine savory ground meat with sweet and tangy cranberry sauce and sauerkraut, baked in a flavorful chili sauce mixture. Perfect for hearty family dinners or gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef or venison
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 can cranberry sauce (whole)
  • 1 large can sauerkraut
  • 1 (12 oz.) bottle chili sauce
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 (12 oz.) bottle water

Instructions

  1. Mix ground beef or venison, onion soup mix, eggs, and bread crumbs well in a large bowl.
  2. Form the mixture into balls and place them in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix cranberry sauce, sauerkraut, chili sauce, brown sugar, and water very well.
  4. Pour the sauce mixture over the meatballs.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 2 hours.
