Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups oats
  • 10 ounces raspberry jam

Instructions

  1. Mix butter, brown sugar, flour, baking soda, and salt with a fork.
  2. Add oats to the mixture.
  3. Spread slightly more than half of the oatmeal mixture evenly in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  4. Spread raspberry jam evenly over the oatmeal mixture.
  5. Crumble the remaining oatmeal mixture over the jam.
  6. Bake at 400°F for 20 to 25 minutes.
  7. Allow to cool slightly, then cut into bars.
