Cashew Chip Beef Bake
Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 c. chopped onion ⓘ
- 1 c. diced celery ⓘ
- 3 Tbsp. oleo ⓘ
- 1 tsp. salt ⓘ
- 1 c. milk ⓘ
- 1/4 tsp. pepper ⓘ
- 1/8 tsp. basil ⓘ
- 1/8 tsp. rosemary ⓘ
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. noodles, cooked and drained ⓘ
- 2 c. potato chips, crushed ⓘ
- 3/4 c. cashew nuts ⓘ
- 1 can cream of chicken soup ⓘ
- 1 can cream of mushroom or cream of celery soup ⓘ
Instructions
- Brown beef, onion and celery in margarine over medium heat. Arrange beef mixture and noodles in layers in greased 2-quart casserole.
- Combine soups, milk and seasonings.
- Pour over beef and noodles.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Bake at 325°
- for 1 hour. Uncover and sprinkle with potato chips and nuts and bake 10 more minutes, uncovered.
- Serves 6 to 8 people.
