A vibrant and refreshing fruit salad featuring strawberries, grapes, bananas, apples, pears, pineapple, and oranges, perfect for a light, sweet, and nutritious treat for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 pt. fresh strawberries
  • 1 to 1 1/2 c. seedless white grapes
  • 1 to 1 1/2 c. seedless red grapes
  • 2 or 3 bananas
  • 2 medium apples
  • 2 pears
  • 1 medium size can pineapple chunks
  • 1/2 c. pecan pieces (optional)
  • 2 oranges
  • 1/4 c. lemon juice
  • 1/3 c. pineapple juice
  • sugar to taste

Instructions

  1. Slice strawberries.
  2. Remove grapes from stems.
  3. Slice bananas.
  4. Core apples and slice into bite-sized pieces.
  5. Drain pineapple chunks and reserve juice.
  6. Chop pecan pieces if using.
  7. Peel and remove orange sections from membrane.
  8. Add lemon juice and pineapple juice to the fruit mixture.
  9. Add sugar to taste.
  10. Peel and slice kiwifruit for decoration and place on top.
  11. Chill the fruit salad before serving.
