Instructions
- Butter a 9-inch tube pan.
- Line the pan with waxed paper.
- Butter the paper.
- Sift the flour and baking soda together.
- Combine eggs, mincemeat, milk, candied fruit, and chopped nuts in a bowl.
- Fold in the dry ingredients gently.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake in a slow 300°F (150°C) oven for 2 hours or until the center springs back and the top is golden brown.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan.
- Turn out the cake and remove the waxed paper.
