Ingredients

  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 Tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 glass dry red wine
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp anchovy paste
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup boxed seasoned croutons
  • 1 medium size head romaine lettuce
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Break garlic into a large wooden salad bowl.
  2. Add vinegar and lemon juice; soak for 2 hours.
  3. Drink the red wine.
  4. Remove garlic from liquid and rub the sides of the bowl.
  5. Dice half of 1 clove of garlic and leave in the liquid.
  6. Add egg, olive oil, and anchovy paste to the bowl.
  7. Tear romaine lettuce into 1-inch squares and add to the bowl.
  8. Toss with seasoned croutons and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
