Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons dill weed
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 2 eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients except butter, eggs, and half and half.
  3. Cut in the butter until the mixture is crumbly.
  4. Stir in the eggs and half and half just until the mixture is moistened.
  5. Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead until smooth, about 1 minute.
  6. Divide the dough in half; roll each half into an 8-inch circle.
  7. Cut each circle into 8 pie-shaped wedges.
  8. Place the wedges 1 inch apart on cookie sheets.
  9. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until lightly browned.
