Cheese Casserole

- Cut bread slices into 4 squares.
- Fit 1/3 of bread tightly in the bottom of a greased 2-quart casserole dish.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper, 1/3 of the minced onion, and 1/3 of the grated cheddar cheese.
- Press down gently, then repeat the layers twice more.
- Beat eggs in a bowl, then add dry mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and milk. Mix well.
- Pour the egg mixture over the layered bread in the casserole.
- Cover and chill the casserole overnight.
- Remove from refrigerator 2 hours before serving and drizzle with melted butter.
- One hour before serving, bake in a preheated 325°F oven for 40 to 50 minutes or until the center is firm.
