Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 cup confectioners sugar
  • 1 large bowl Cool Whip
  • 2 small boxes instant pudding (any flavor)
  • 3 cups milk

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, oleo, and half of the chopped nuts.
  2. Press the mixture into a 9 x 13-inch pan to form a crust.
  3. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes.
  4. Cool on a rack for at least 20 minutes.
  5. In a large bowl, blend and whip confectioners sugar and cream cheese, then fold in half of the Cool Whip.
  6. Spread the cheese mixture on the cooled crust in one direction.
  7. In a separate bowl, blend the pudding mix with milk until thick, then spread over the cheese layer.
  8. Spread the remaining Cool Whip on top of the pudding layer.
  9. Sprinkle with the remaining chopped nuts.
  10. Refrigerate for several hours or overnight before serving.
