Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 2 c. Rice Krispies, crushed
  • 2 c. plain flour
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 1/2 tsp. red pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Cream the margarine and mix it with the grated cheese.
  2. Sift red pepper, salt, and flour together.
  3. Gradually add the flour mixture to the margarine and cheese mixture.
  4. Add crushed Rice Krispies and mix gently.
  5. Shape the mixture into small balls.
  6. Place the balls on a baking sheet.
  7. Press each ball flat with a fork.
  8. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 12 to 15 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Cool on a wire rack before serving.
