A delicious and easy cheese strudel with creamy filling and flaky crescent dough, perfect for dessert or a sweet snack for family gatherings or special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 16 oz. crescent rolls
  • 16 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3/4 cup sugar

Instructions

  1. Mix together cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and egg yolk to create the filling.
  2. Spread one package of crescent rolls in a 13 x 9-inch pan, pinching at perforations to keep from separating.
  3. Pour the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough.
  4. Spread the second stretched crescent dough over the top of the filling.
  5. Brush the top with beaten egg white.
  6. Bake in a glass pan at 325°F for 25 to 30 minutes, or in a metal pan at 350°F for 25 to 30 minutes.
