Ingredients

  • 1 package lemon flavor cake mix
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 (8 oz.) packages cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • confectioners sugar (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour a 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
  3. Mix butter and 1 egg in a large bowl with an electric mixer until crumbly.
  4. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  5. Bake for 8 minutes and then remove from the oven.
