Ingredients

  • 2 lb. frozen hash browns
  • 8 oz. sour cream
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 3 cups Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Combine sour cream, cream cheese, cream of chicken soup, and diced onion thoroughly.
  2. Melt the margarine.
  3. Pour melted margarine over the frozen hash browns.
  4. Mix in the shredded Cheddar cheese.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour or until the casserole is creamy and hot.
  6. If the mixture is too thick, add water to reach desired consistency.
  7. Serve and enjoy.
