- In a 2-quart glass mixing bowl, combine the bean with bacon soup, sour cream, taco seasoning mix, chopped green chilies, and instant minced onion.
- Mix well to incorporate all ingredients.
- Cook the mixture on maximum power in the microwave, uncovered, for 5 to 6 minutes or until heated through, stirring twice during cooking.
- In a 10-inch skillet, brown tortillas one at a time in a small amount of hot oil until crisp, about 1 minute on each side.
- Drain the tortillas on paper toweling.
- To serve, place two tortillas on each plate and pour about 1/4 cup of the hot cheese mixture over each.
- Top with shredded lettuce, and optionally add tomatoes and onions as desired.
