Cheesy Tomato Chowder

Instructions
- Saute onion in butter until tender.
- Stir in flour and seasonings until smooth.
- Remove from heat and gradually stir in broth and milk.
- Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
- Boil and stir 1 minute; remove from heat.
- Stir in half of the cheese at a time.
- Stir until completely melted before adding remaining cheese.
- Place tomatoes and liquid in blender; cover and puree until smooth.
- Stir tomato mixture into soup.
- Heat to serving temperature.
- Do not boil.
