Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 3/4 cup yellow cornmeal
  • 2 cups grated cheese
  • 2 (16 oz.) cans cream-style corn
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup diced canned jalapenos

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients except for 1 cup of cheese, which should be saved for topping.
  2. Pour the mixture into a greased casserole dish.
  3. Top with the saved cheese.
  4. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 1 hour until golden and set.
