Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 pint cream
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 can cherry pie filling

Instructions

  1. Combine graham cracker crumbs and melted margarine; press into a 1 1/2-quart oblong Pyrex dish.
  2. Bake at 325°F (163°C) for 15 minutes.
  3. Cream the cream cheese and milk until smooth.
  4. Gradually add sugar to the cream cheese mixture and mix well.
  5. Spread the cheese and sugar mixture over the cooled graham cracker crust.
  6. Sprinkle chopped pecans over the cream cheese layer.
  7. Whip the cream with vanilla until stiff peaks form.
  8. Spread the whipped cream over the pecans.
  9. Chill the dessert until set.
  10. Spread the cherry pie filling on top of the chilled dessert.
  11. Chill overnight before serving.
