Ingredients

  • 1 cup cocoa
  • 1 cup corn oil
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Beat the eggs until well combined.
  2. Add sugar and corn oil to the eggs and beat until smooth.
  3. Sift together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt; then add to the egg, sugar, and oil mixture, mixing well.
  4. Stir in chopped nuts and vanilla extract.
  5. Pour the batter into two greased 8x8-inch pans or one 13x9-inch pan.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes.
  7. Cut into squares while still warm and serve.
