Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour, sifted
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg, well beaten
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter or margarine
  • 1 cup sour pitted red cherries, well drained

Instructions
