Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • Large Cool Whip

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter.
  2. Stir in sugar and crushed pretzels; reserve 1 cup of crumbs for topping.
  3. Press the remaining pretzel mixture into a 9 x 13-inch pan to form the crust.
  4. Beat softened cream cheese until smooth; then beat in powdered sugar.
  5. Fold Cool Whip into the cream cheese mixture until well combined.
  6. Spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the pretzel crust.
  7. Top with half of the cherry pie filling.
  8. Repeat with the remaining cream cheese mixture and cherries.
  9. Sprinkle the reserved pretzel crumbs on top.
  10. Refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours before serving.
