Ingredients

  • 1 large can pork and beans
  • 1 medium onion
  • 3 strips bacon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup dark Karo syrup
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons mustard

Instructions

  1. Brown bacon and sauté onions in bacon grease.
  2. Add brown sugar, ketchup, dark Karo syrup, and mustard to the skillet to make a sauce.
  3. Pour the sauce over the large can of pork and beans.
  4. Bake at 350°F for 30 to 45 minutes.
