Ingredients

  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 8 oz. rotini pasta
  • 1/2 cup diced green pepper
  • 1/2 cup finely diced onion
  • 2 cups diced cooked chicken or turkey
  • 1/3 cup diced pimento
  • 8 oz. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
  • buttered bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. In a small mixing bowl, blend together the cream of chicken soup and milk; set aside.
  2. Cook the rotini pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the green peppers, onion, cooked chicken, pimiento, and grated Cheddar cheese.
  4. Add the cooked rotini to the mixture and mix thoroughly.
  5. Pour the soup and milk mixture over the pasta mixture and stir to combine.
  6. Pour the mixture into a greased 9 x 13-inch casserole dish.
  7. Sprinkle with buttered bread crumbs on top.
  8. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 35 to 45 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
