Ingredients

  • 2 c. plain flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. chicken broth
  • 1 egg yolk

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, salt, cooled chicken broth, and egg yolk well to form a dough.
  2. Put the dough on a floured cloth and knead gently, adding flour as needed to roll it out like pie crust.
  3. Let the dough rest and dry for 10 to 15 minutes.
  4. Use a pizza cutter to cut the dough into strips.
  5. Bring a pot of chicken broth to a boil and drop the dough strips in one by one.
  6. Turn the heat down and cook the dumplings slowly for 20 to 30 minutes.
