Tips & Substitutions

For a richer flavor, consider adding a splash of white wine when sautéing the garlic and leeks. If leeks are unavailable, substitute with shallots or green onions. For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of whipping cream. To save time, use rotisserie chicken instead of boiling and deboning fresh chicken breasts.

Serving Suggestions

Serve the chicken and leek mixture over fluffy rice for a complete meal. It pairs beautifully with Stir-Fry Rice for a delightful contrast in textures. For added freshness, consider a side of Twisted River Ranch Cabbage Salad or steamed vegetables. A light white wine would complement the dish perfectly.

Storage & Reheating

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, warm gently on the stovetop over low heat, adding a splash of cream or broth if the sauce thickens too much. Avoid microwaving, as it may make the chicken rubbery.
