Ingredients

  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can water
  • 1 to 2 cans chicken or 1 1/2 cups diced cooked chicken
  • 1 1/3 cups dry Minute rice
  • 1 can French fried onions (optional)
  • 8 to 12 waffles

Instructions

  1. Combine the cream of celery soup, cream of chicken soup, water, and cooked chicken in a saucepan.
  2. Add the dry Minute rice and stir to mix.
  3. Bring the mixture quickly to a boil.
  4. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer for 7 minutes.
  5. Top with French fried onions if desired.
  6. Serve the chicken mixture over waffles.
