Ingredients

  • 3 whole chicken breasts, skin removed
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • 1 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup slivered almonds
  • 1/2 cup beer
  • 1 small can sliced mushrooms

Instructions

  1. Flour the chicken breasts and brown them in oil.
  2. Place the browned chicken breasts in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, soy sauce, slivered almonds, beer, and sliced mushrooms; beat together.
  4. Pour the mixture over the chicken breasts in the pan.
  5. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Bake uncovered at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour.
  7. Baste the chicken occasionally during baking.
  8. Serve hot, preferably with rice.
