Ingredients

  • 6 pork chops
  • 1 can chicken gumbo soup
  • prepared mustard
  • 3 Tbsp oil
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • flour

Instructions

  1. Wash the pork chops.
  2. Salt and pepper each side of the pork chops.
  3. Smear each side of the chops with about 1 teaspoon of prepared mustard.
  4. Dredge the pork chops in flour.
  5. Brown the chops in oil on each side in a skillet.
  6. Pour the chicken gumbo soup over the browned chops.
  7. Cook the chops with the soup for 1 hour at 350°F.
  8. Alternatively, place the chops in a covered baking dish, pour the soup over them, and bake in the oven or microwave.
